About Me
I was born and raised in Northern California, growing up with my supportive parents, Mike and Chris, and my older brother Nick. I spent my childhood at Shasta Lake, where our family business was based, and attended a small high school where my passion for sports first took root. This love for athletics led me to college, where I played volleyball and ran track, eventually transferring to a small university in Oregon in 2010. Soon after, I began a career in personal training and professional modeling, working with renowned brands such as Nike, Reebok, and Adidas.
My journey then took a nomadic turn- I moved 19 times across various states before finally settling in Daytona Beach, Florida, in 2016. I launched a sports massage therapy business, helping local athletes excel, while also specializing in skincare with services like facials, peels, and waxing.
In 2018, I met Cory, a multifaceted talent, known for his work behind the camera, his musical skills, and his knack for fixing just about anything. Together, we share our lives with three wonderful cats: Mama, Mochi, and Kiwi. We also fondly remember our beloved Miso, who passed away in September 2022; her loss is deeply felt.
While I started a fitness Instagram in 2014, it wasn’t until 2019 that it gained momentum. After receiving countless messages about workout apparel and training programs, I launched LunarBody, a dream realized. It has been incredibly fulfilling to provide high-quality workout gear and effective fitness programs to people around the globe.
Between 2011 and 2018, I faced a series of daunting health challenges, from irritable bowel syndrome and chronic fatigue, to polycystic ovarian syndrome, fructose malabsorption, and breast implant illness. Managing these conditions over nearly a decade has taught me the value of resilience and patience. In 2021, I received a diagnosis of ulcerative colitis, and in August 2023, I underwent surgery to remove an abdominal mass.
More recently, I’ve been learning to navigate the complexities of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and Dysautonomia, adapting to each new challenge with determination and hope. While my journey has been long and arduous, it has also been a path of growth, and I share my story in the hope of inspiring and supporting others facing similar battles.
